Nathan Denison Open House and Go Joe 29

Join us on Friday July 24, 2026 at the Nathan Denison House, 35 Dennison Street, Forty Fort, for an Open House from 3pm – 7pm as we welcome Joe Snedeker of WNEP-TV as he completes his Go Joe 29 bike ride to benefit St. Joseph’s Center! Joe will be finishing up the last leg of his 29th annual charity bike ride, and with the theme this year being “Red White and You”, what better place to visit than the home of a Revolutionary War officer?
Joe will be arriving between 3pm and 4pm and then afterwards, stay for the open house and take a guided tour of the 1790 historic home, led by docents in period clothing and learn about the life and times of Col. Nathan Denison, Revolutionary War soldier and early Luzerne County Judge. Also on display will be several letters and other ephemera from the Colonel.
Tours are just $5 for adults, $3 for children, and LCHS members are free. Reservations are not required. For more info, call 570-823-6244 x3.
