AMHM – Mining in the 21st Century

As part of the greater celebration of Anthracite Mining Heritage Month, on January 17th at 7pm, the Luzerne County Historical Society is proud to partner with the Anthracite Heritage Museum to host Justin W. Emershaw, a Mining Engineer at the Atlantic Carbon Group, Inc. who will speak on the Anthracite Mining that still takes place in Luzerne County to this very day.
The lecture will be held at the auditorium at Eckley Miners Village, 2 Eckley Main Street, Weatherly, PA 18255. As with all Heritage Month events, this lecture is free of charge. For more info, call 570-823-6244 x3 or email reservations@luzernehistory.org.
