The Luzerne County Historical Society is proud to announce that it will jointly host a reception and exhibition with the League of Women Voters of the Wilkes-Barre Area on Saturday, November 18, 2023, at the Gather Space at First Presbyterian Church.

This free reception also includes the exhibition “The League Makes a Difference: 1948-2023” which celebrates the League’s contribution to voter education and participation in the Wilkes Barre area and includes items from both the League’s and the LCHS’s collections.  The reception will also feature a presentation by Phyllis Mundy, who former state representative and past president of the League.
