On Saturday, October 7th, the Luzerne County Historical Society is proud to present a one-day history academy for professionals and history buffs alike. The seminar will be held at the Kirby Episcopal House, 381 Sunset Rd, Mountain Top, PA 18707, and will feature over dozen speakers covering over two and a half centuries of Luzerne County History.

Topics include: The first settlers, the rise and fall of anthracite, the Gilded Age, Agnes, and many more. Cost is $55 for LCHS members; $65 for non-members.
